Work in progress

I've been pretty busy lately so I didn't really had time to write anything!

I studied hard and I gave my IELTS exam, I don't have the results yet but I really hope I did good enough because I'm applying for the Royal conservatoire of Scotland and I need a good score..!

I'm now preparing myself for the audition part..! *I really wanna run&hide because it terrifies me!!!*

In my attempt to overcome my fear for auditions, I reunited all the possible support I could get so I'm now having one or two extra singing an dancing sessions per week to be sure to be properly prepared..HUZZAH!

Since I'm an overseas applicant, I can tape the entry audition and send it with my application! Can't really decide if it is a good or a bad thing for a possible callback..!

I feel more confident now that I have the physical and psychological help and support from my trainers and the ones who love me! :)

The thing that worries me the most are the monologues..! I really can't decide which ones I should prepare..!

I have to prepare a classical shakespearean monologue and a contemporary monologue, any suggestion?

P.S. Things are getting pretty Xmasy, I almost changed a couple of songs with Xmas songs, I LOVE Xmassss!! Haha!

Auditions

It's really bad when it comes to auditions for me, it's the kind of circumstance I hardly stand.

My mind starts to blank, I trip on words and I'm literally paralyzed....basically a disaster!

I actually have auditioned just once in my life, it was an entrance audition for a Musical Theatre course and even though I consider it a good experience, it was just SCARY at that time..!

However, that school admits just 10 students per year and there was about 500 of us at the audition so I didn't got in.

I'm now considering to do it again because my goal is to become an actress or to work in the entertainment industry anyway so I'll have to audition if I want to get into the courses I've choose..

I'm terrified, I have to find a way to face my fears because if I want to reach my goals, auditions will be part of my daily life, any tip fellows artists?

TV shows

I've just spent the last 10 days catching up the whole 5 seasons of Queer as Folk (I was like 7 when the series aired so of course I wasn't allowed to watch such an explicit show. Anyway at the time I didn't even knew it existed) and I'm just..just...full of so many feelings I can't deal with!

I should stop letting all these TV shows break my fangirl's heart..

Anyway, I totally loved the show, the way every character grew up through the seasons an even how it ended in some way.

I just love how actors and all the people involved in the production managed to shoot such uneasy scenes (like explicit sex scenes and so), the work, the passion..just everything!

ALSO, I just discovered that Randy Harrison (who played Justin in QaF) portrayed the character of Boq in my fav Broadway musical EVER Wicked! I never read the names of the cast except for the original one so I was so excited when I found out he was the 2nd Boq when Idina and Kristin were still on the show!

So now I'm also enchanted by the incredible acting/singing/dancing skills of Randy, another reason for admiring him so much!

I really wish I can be part of something like that one day, to really inspire other artists like the ones I admire inspire me..!

Here's a couple of videos of Randy singing!
